Eleven months ago, i posted a video about how we butcher a lamb, Humane sleep slaughter. Today, I'm posting this video about Butcher a goat. Humane goat slaughter.

Like the last vid about butchering, we went to the same farm that my friends own. Thanks Khan and Hip for letting us spend your Sunday with us. Thanks for the delicious lunch too!

This video was shoot in Franktown Colorado. Farm life. Organic farm. Hubby shot the goat with 22 LR. We butcher and slaughter the goat. packed and freeze.

Hellerskie!!!

Thursday is almost over and i have two blog post today! what! woot!

I only got couple hours of sleep since i edited that halloween video last night. Went to my fulltime work today then pick up the kids. As treat for myself, i had an evening of delight with the honest company! hosted by bump club and beyond!

So nice to meet new moms, godmothers, dad to be, moms to be and moms like me! Finally meet Christopher Gavigan, the co founder of honest company!

Great night of food, wine and lots of information about honest products.

Nobody paid me to do this blog post, in fact i paid $5 plus tax so its $6.27. So worth it plus the $5 parking fee in downtown Denver.

Spend $10ish but its all worth it coz i learned a lot, meet moms like me but most of all freebies from honest company!!!

I want to share this blog while my memory fresh in my brain hehe

Thanks Bump Club and Beyond for hosting this event. Really learned a bunch! Thanks honest for the goodies!!

Hope the moms i meet in this event will comment on my blog! cant remember all you ladies names but i'm so happy to meet you gals!

Hope there is more event like this in Denver!

Ps. thanks to my hubby for watching the kids tonight and i got to sneak out for couple of hours and enjoy me time! (best hubby ever!)

Hellerskie!

Last Sunday, we went to my friends farm to butcher/slaughter a lamb/sheep.

My friend has a farm in Franktown Colorado. She has goats, lambs, chicken and other animals.

It was good experience to be out of the city and see farm life.

I remember when i used to live in the Philippines, when there is a special occasion, my grandma goes to the farmers market and we butcher a chicken. Can't get more fresher and organic than that.

My hubby shot the sheep/lamb in the most humane way. its kinda weird to be honest to see an animal few minutes before they die. Its a mix emotion experience per say.

Anyway, we butcher and slaughter it. Packed and freeze it. Now my hubby is preserving the skin so we can make sheep skin rug. A lot of process but its a great experience.

Hellerskie!!!!

First of all, thank you for all the birthday wishes. Life is great, i really appreciate the time you took to post a happy birthday in my wall, sent me twits, instagram and text/call messages! Thanks for all the gifts from fam and friends :)

Back in the day when I was still single, I was worried about how things will work out for me. I was too focus on my career and always think about stuff i cant control. I still remember the day when i was so worried turning 30 yrs old. Now i'm 31, i couldn't ask for anything else. I worry too much and if I can turn back time and tell myself not to worry about life, maybe i wont have so much wrinkles in my face haha jk

Before, i wish for so many things. Now my life goals are complete. Job that practices my college degree, cars that help us to all our transpo needs. My husband who is always there support me and listen to me. My kids who are my constant reminder that i'm so lucky to be called a mom.

At this point of time, my only wish is to make more memories with my family. Can't wait to travel again! :)

Life is amazing! Always remember that!

Hellerskie!!

Today is Alyza's 6th birthday. Until now I cant believe we have a kinder garden student, a princess, a baby doll and a bruha who is 6 years old!

I still remember the days when I was pregnant with her. I was so excited to give birth and we waited forever to see Alyza. I was 3 days overdue from my due date to give birth. One week before that I keep telling my husband that this is the day, this is the day that I will give birth but it never happened.

Here's a funny story I haven't share to everyone! When my water broke, I was peeing and didn't know that my water broke. I thought i was just doing my regular morning potty and then a big splash in the toilet happened. I know its TMI haha (Too Much Information)

After that I was bleeding and I called my hubby. Told him it is time and this time its for reals.

Tony rushed home from his work and we drove to the hospital (St Joseph in Dtown Denver). The cramps were intense that i thought my back will break. It was 27 hours of labor and Alyza still in my belly. In the 27 hours of labor, the nurse advise not to eat or anything kind of food intake. But I was not listening and took some hamburger bites from Tony's lunch. Our doctor said we need to do an emergency c section because its been 27 hours and I stop dilating. I remember crying and crying since I'm so scared for the procedure.

Alyza was born 2:19 pm on January 29, 2009 7.72 lbs 19". She is so perfect baby doll! She has changed our lives so much. We've been so blessed to have her and her brother.

Alyza been to many places since she born, shes a traveler. When she was 5 months she was in the Philippines, before she turned 1 she was in Vegas. When she was 1 1/2 New York and DC. Before she turned 2 we went to Mexico and New Mexico. Philippines again when she was 3. California when she was 3 1/2. 4 up to now we've been travelling all over Colorado. She's a trooper and tourist at the same time.

Hellerskie!!

When I gave birth to Alyza, I always struggle what to put in my diaper bag. I usually over pack and end up carrying this huge bag together with my purse. That was almost 6 years ago.

Now I think I master what to place in Ayden & Alyza's diaper bag.

We have two diaper bags, one is the cargo pod underneath Ayden's stroller. The other one is a March by Marc Jacobs diaper bag similar bag here >> click this :) i got mine in Nordstrom rack but they still sell a different pattern in nodstrom :)

So what's inside these two bags!

1. Onesies and Pajamas - i love the gerber onesies - i usually buy them at target - link here ; they are cotton, breathable and so easy to wash.

2. Dr brown bottles, Milk, To go milk and water - these bottles are amazing! less colic and great technology - link here ; we placed emergency pre made milk and water for similac. These premade stuff helped us when we ran out of water in Ayden's bottle.

3. Diapers and Wipes - Huggies and Honest diapers are what we use. Here's the link to honest website to get your free trial - click this

4. Emergency kit - this is a life saver. you know how Alyza get bruises or just needed some tlc. this to go emergency kit is amazing! - here's the link We also add some allergy medicine and baby tynenol just in case.

5. Camera - i usually place our waterproof camera in the kids diaper bag. If i didnt bring my dslr or go pro.

6. Blanket and Bibs - i use the blanket as a wipe if i dont want to use the wet wipes or bibs when Ayden is eating food.

7. Teether and Toys - Since Ayden is teething, i usually bring a teether. i like the como tomo teether, i posted it on my instagram before - here's the link

8. Hand Sanitizer and Lip balm - For general hand cleaning and eos lip balm for Alyza's lips since its so dry here in Colorado.
