I joined meetup.com couple years ago and looking for people who has the same interest as i Do. Find a great group of filipino community and youtube community.
Last night was one of the Colorado Youtube Meet up. The meet up was held in The Neat Factory in broadway denver. I didn't expect people to come since myself doubted to attend and see strangers. But the end up attending and paying $5 for the event. the fee covers refreshments and snack plus event space.
