In Memory.. Faustino Garcia (Three-Volley Salute, 21-Gun Salute)

"Born July 29, 1934, entered into the Gates of Heaven August 9, 2017. Preceded in death by his loving parents, Faustino and Elvira Garcia, one sister, Ruth Maes, one brother, George Garcia, two sons, Jerry and Leroy Garcia. Survived by his loving wife Emilia; children, Judy, Anthony and Susan; numerous grand and great grandchildren, two brothers, Richard and Paul and two sisters, Vera and Josephine. Served in Korea in the U. S. Army. Spent most of his life doing volunteer work for churches. He loved his Lord and Family. Services, Wednesday, Aug. 16 at 10 AM at Ridgeview Baptist Church, 38th & Youngfield St., Wheat Ridge, with viewing one hour prior. Interment, Fort Logan National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Ridgeview Baptist Church or Collier Hospice.

Published in Denver Post from Aug. 13 to Aug. 15, 2017"

Hope your Memorial Day Weekend is doing great. I went to Fort Logan Cemetery today. I feel like Memorial Day is comparable to All Souls day in the Philippines. I walked around the cemetery and saw people who take their time to visit the graves of their love ones.

As I walked around, I meet some veterans who's doing some service. I also witness a gun salute, i wish i took a video so i can show everyone.

In line with Memorial day, i made a video about Fort Logan Cemetery. This is a quick video how the cemetery looks like today. Hope you guys enjoy my video and don't forget to subscribe to my youtube!

Salute to all who served. Honoring all veterans and remembering them this Memorial day weekend.
