Happy Friday!!!!

15 days before Christmas! are you done with your holiday shopping? We are almost done hehe few more gifts and were done for the gift shopping :)

Today's blog and vlog is one of our Christmas tradition. We rode the Santa Express Train at Royal Gorge Railroad Route at Canon City!

My hubby bought the tickets months ago since the tickets sold out quickly! We also stayed in a hotel since we dont want to drive back to Denver the night after the train ride.

The kids enjoyed the ride! Cookies, hot coco, elfs, games and most especially they told santa what they want for Christmas!

We also few the drone in a local park!

Here's one of my Sunday blog share!

Almost December! that means holidays are here!

Yesterday we were at Littleman Icecream and joined the LoHi side of Denver for festivities! The Littleman icecream hosted a free event! Holiday Lights at LoHi.

We were in line for icecream and first in line for free picture with santa!

We vlog the whole event and enjoyed so much free stuff! Free pizza, free hotdog, free pull pork sandwhiches, free petting zoo with the mini horses, free jumping castle, did got a chance to try the free carriage ride but Alyza got the free face paint!

They are very generous with this event, of course with the help of their sponsors! So many people attended. I remember looking at the rsvp in facebook it says 765++ are going and then almost 3.5k are interested! great turn out for this event!

Thanks to Littleman Icecream for hosting free event. This blog/vlog post is not sponsored. We paid $9 for our parking, paid our ice creams and enjoyed the free stuff i mentioned earlier.

Hellerskie!

Last Sunday, we went to my friends farm to butcher/slaughter a lamb/sheep.

My friend has a farm in Franktown Colorado. She has goats, lambs, chicken and other animals.

It was good experience to be out of the city and see farm life.

I remember when i used to live in the Philippines, when there is a special occasion, my grandma goes to the farmers market and we butcher a chicken. Can't get more fresher and organic than that.

My hubby shot the sheep/lamb in the most humane way. its kinda weird to be honest to see an animal few minutes before they die. Its a mix emotion experience per say.

Anyway, we butcher and slaughter it. Packed and freeze it. Now my hubby is preserving the skin so we can make sheep skin rug. A lot of process but its a great experience.

Hellerskie!!!

Fall is in full bloom! Pumpkins everywhere! Corn maze! Last October 2, 2016 we went to Fritzler Colorado Corn Maze, they claim to be the original corn maze in Colorado!

We paid about $16 per adult and $13 per kids. So we paid about $58 plus tax. We spend the whole day there. Left Denver around 10am since its 2 hours drive plus the place opens at 12pm anyway. We got there just in time before they open :)

We enjoyed the full day of fun! I think my highlight for the day was the pig race plus alyza's pig of choice won the race! go blue!

Another highlight was when we jump on the jumpy thingy and Ayden fly high as we jump lol

We flew our drone for about a minute then a security told us they don't allow drone shots there so we landed our drone and obey the rule. I added the few seconds shots we got from the drone. (the controller said its ok to fly but its no fly zone for them though)

Ayden said "hold pumpkin like baby"
