Here we are on the last days of June. Summer heat. Kids are out of school. Too hot to play outside with the kids!

I just want to share one of the best indoor activity that you can do with your family. The downtown denver aquarium. We purchase our own ticket to get in. they are on sale at groupon right now :)
I just want to share these photos and vlog we did. Just in case you dont want to be outside in the summer heat. this is the perfect indoor activity here in Colorado.

Today was Take our daughters and sons to work day 2018! Some work places call it bring your kid to work day!

I took Alyza to work today and we enjoyed our day!

She visited the Colorado State Capitol. Tour the building and saw the teachers that are protesting in front of the capitol about the teachers wages. Lots of teachers wearing red today!

She got to see Downtown Denver from the top of Capitol Building. Downtown Denver Colorado!

She got to ask question with the Commissioner of Education - Dr. Katy Anthens PhD.

What a fun experience! i courage all parents to take their kids to work day. Let them experience the corporate world in a young age.

Hellerskie!!!!

Did you finish your Christmas shopping yet? this is your last weekend to do it :) we finished shopping and we can't wait to see the kids reaction when they open their gifts!

Anyway, here is our vlog from the Denver nuggets vs LA lakers game last December 2, 2017 at pepsi center, denver colorado! Alyza perfomed and we purchased great seats! it was one of the best games i ever been. i grew up watching basketball when i was in the philippines. i still remember watching my dads favorite team, ginebra!

now here in the states, i got to watch nba game instead of pba game :)

we are so proud alyza perfomed cheerleading with the junior denver nuggets cheerleaders!

Im back!!! Hello February!!!

Just like that, January is over. Now time to get really really serious with my new years resolution! more traveling for sure this month!

Right now, were are enjoying our long weekend in the mountain house. if you follow me on instgram, you'll see some awesome icicles shots i took here at steamboat.

Anyway!

This video is about the brown palace hotel in downtown denver. I took Alyza for a Mom and daughter tea time.

Afternoon tea at the brown palace. we experienced a great tea time with bunch of little nick nacks! my fav was the coconut tea paired with scone. I will continue this tradition with baby doll!

Here's one of my Sunday blog share!

Almost December! that means holidays are here!

Yesterday we were at Littleman Icecream and joined the LoHi side of Denver for festivities! The Littleman icecream hosted a free event! Holiday Lights at LoHi.

We were in line for icecream and first in line for free picture with santa!

We vlog the whole event and enjoyed so much free stuff! Free pizza, free hotdog, free pull pork sandwhiches, free petting zoo with the mini horses, free jumping castle, did got a chance to try the free carriage ride but Alyza got the free face paint!

They are very generous with this event, of course with the help of their sponsors! So many people attended. I remember looking at the rsvp in facebook it says 765++ are going and then almost 3.5k are interested! great turn out for this event!

Thanks to Littleman Icecream for hosting free event. This blog/vlog post is not sponsored. We paid $9 for our parking, paid our ice creams and enjoyed the free stuff i mentioned earlier.

Hellerksie!!!!

Last Saturday, we went to Denver Botanic Gardens and celebrated Day of the dead. We paid general admissions for adult and free entrance for the kids.

Alyza did face paint and it was $10 for half face. More expensive this year i think and the botanic garden is decorated different. We missed the performance since they held it inside the gardens rather than outside but we got a chance to get a pic of the performers! They were so sweet!

My favorite part is decorating the sugar skulls!

Did you celebrate day of the dead too? (Dia de Muertos) Please let me know in the comments below! Enjoy the one hour extra sleep. Fall back is the best!
