I'm sneaking this video i made about how to make filipino flan. leche flan is a creme caramel base dessert that is popular in the Philippines.

Im cheating my no dairy diet with this dessert. worth every calories!

Recipe by my ninong ed (godfather). He is a chef so i trust him with food recipes haha thanks ninong ed for the recipe!

Ingredients:

6 eggs yolks
1 can condensed milk
1 can evaporated milk
6 tablespoon brown sugar




boil water for your steamer. set up your steamer. while water is boiling, Fold 6 egg yolks with the milk. do not stir, it will create lots of bubbles and not good for flan. once mixture is combined. set aside. make caramel sauce, get a sauce pan or your lanera and melt sugar. once its ready, cool it down for few minutes. once the caramel sauce is cool down, pour the egg and milk mixture. steam the mixture for 30 minutes, once the consistency is in a gelatin phase, your flan is done steaming. set aside cool down for 15 minutes.

Enjoy the flan by itself or on top of your favorite filipino halo halo!
